Exceptional

Liked: Breakfast was very good. Staff was excellent and very helpful.
Disliked: Had to keep getting the key reprogrammed.

I would have been better...

Liked: Nothing. Literally nothing about this place other than its location.
Disliked: This was the most overpriced room and worst quality I’ve ever seen. Door to my room was broke, had screws missing for the door latch, ac unit was broke, wash cloth had holes all through it, and they never restocked towels. Floor was filthy, bathroom toilet seat was broke, and the light was out so I had to shower in the dark.

Was expecting more

Liked: The hotel is descent but if they are going to charge the rates they do they should have the amenities that you would expect or lower their rates. There are no blow dryers and no shampoo or bath gel. These items are not necessary when you pay a small amount but if your rates are comparable to nearby hotels then you should offer the same amenities.
Disliked: See above

We made do, but we...

Liked: The waffles were tasty, and the front desk was friendly.
Disliked: The room was dark, the beds were uncomfortable, and we couldn't sit on the sofa in our room. The staff had removed the mattress (it was a pull out bed sofa) so the cushions had no support. We sat down and fell. The coffee served at breakfast was incredibly weak.

Disliked: No wash clothes

Hotel just 15 minutes north...

Liked: Clean big rooms and convenient enough to SU
Disliked: Clearly understaffed, yet the few people working were trying as best they could to help everyone. Patience is a must.

Being renovated but still avgood...

Liked: Clean , quiet, breakfast ,doing renovations but still good value .friendly staff. Came in late and was easy to check in
Disliked: Would of liked access to coffee in lobby when checking in .
