Great location - tired property

Liked: The location was the best
Disliked: It was not updated the painting need updated, carpet was old and it had a smell and bit overpriced for the amenities or the quality of the hotel

Would stay there again and...

Liked: The location is great. It is really easy to walk form the Church Street Inn to everywhere one needs to go in downtown. Also the free shuttle bus is a 2-3 minute walk away. We used that to get to the Charleston museum.The room had a sofa bed on the walk-in level and stairs leading to the double bed above. Quite cute really and very comfortable.The staff were quite friendly and helpful. The TV wasn't hooked up to the wifi when we got the room and they got that sorted right away. They also gave us a fresh set of towels when we asked for them. Happy to answer questions and just generally pretty happy.If you're going for the first time, they have maps with the sights in the French Quarter and Downtown, both of which we walked around extensively. It's a really pretty city and very clean and relatively quiet.We enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again.
Disliked: There were minor issues in that the toaster needed managing and the fridge didn't have a door handle. But both were usable and did their jobs.We did think it was a tad pricey but for the location and the service it was fine.

Liked: Location was right in the heart of downtown Charleston near the Market Place - convenient to so many restaurants and shopping!
Disliked: The room could have been a bit cleaner - particularly the woodwork had not been properly wiped down .

Clean, comfortable, perfect location, and...

Liked: Quiet and clean, comfortable beds, loved having a kitchen and refrigerator! The two story feel made it feel so big! Loved having the half bath downstairs for an extra restroom. Staff was helpful!
Disliked: More towels needed in our room and toilet paper. But when we asked for them they brought right away! So not a big deal
