Exceptional
Liked: Excellent service and staff exceptional.Breakfast menu was brilliant and exceptional choice.Rooms Excellent the lady that cleaned the room I asked for more tea bags etc and when I got back to are room they were filled ready for us.We had a balcony room and enjoyed sitting outside and looking at the cathedral.Food was also lovely I asked for my steak to be cooked a certain way and they done it just as I asked exceptional again.This was my third visit and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.Thank you for making us welcome and looking after us.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Would definitely like to eat...
Liked: Very nice bar/restaurant with excellent food, wine and beer. Central location.
Disliked: Unfortunately our room was on the third floor, we are an elderly couple and it was difficult for my wife to negotiate the stairs, I had dropped her off at the door as we were running late while I went to park the car I thought she would be waiting for me inside but she had been shown to the room by a healthy looking young lady who could of offered her help with our overnight bags but didn’t.

A relaxing and very enjoyable...
Liked: Everything went well. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. There was a nice atmosphere in the eating area. A great location for exploring Ludlow and using the train.
Disliked: I can't think of anything we didn't like, apart from perhaps the lovely old beams which my husband had to watch out for as he is tall. But it was fine as the building itself has such an amazing character.

Perfect for a weekend
Liked: Lovely, spacious room with balcony overlooking church and almshouse. Best room is room 1!Clean, comfortable, central and 10.mins walk from the station. Perfect for a weekend visit.
Disliked: Not a problem for us, but as the name suggests, it's right next to the church and the bells.... so if you're a light sleeper, you may want to avoid. Very loud cooling unit to the front, which also adds to the volume if you sleep with open windows.Again not a problem for us, but useful to know that rooms are three floors up with no lift if access is an issue.
