Superb

Liked: Room with a fabulous balcony overlooking the Church. Triple glazed windows, so the room was very quiet. Evening & breakfast food was beautiful.
Disliked: Room was hot although a fan was provided. Would be nice if the balcony was a little more private from the balcony next door.

A perfect gem in beautiful...

Liked: Exceptionally clean, very comfortable and with some nice touches that made our stay wonderful. We also had food in the evening which was outstanding with a relaxing, warm ambient environment.
Disliked: Nothing.

Heart place to stay &...

Liked: Balcony overlooking the church.The evening meal. The comfy bed.
Disliked: Unfortunately The church bells. The bed corners. Due to being a small room not much room to walk around the bed which meant kept bumping into the wooden corners.

Good, but pricey

Liked: The Church Inn is very well located in the middle of Ludlow. Parking is within a five minute walk (charges between 8am and 6pm). All the rooms appear to be on the top floor, up several steep stairs (it would have been nice if the person showing us to our room had offered to take a case). The rooms are a good size, comfortable and ours has the bonus of a very nice balcony. However the rooms are hot in summer, with no air conditioning (the fan just blew hot air around!). The bathroom was a reasonable size but restricted by sloping ceilings and the maintenance needs improvement (Velux window sticking and wood rotting, shower doors come off runners). The breakfast was really good, as was the evening meal in the pub.
Disliked: We enjoyed our stay, but felt that the cost was too high for the quality of the accommodation..

Beautiful room in heart of...

Liked: Really beautifully furnished room with a lovely terrace in the heart of Ludlow. Lots of great amenities in the room too.
Disliked: It was a bit pricey for one night, but the area is beautiful so it is understandable.
