Church Farm Accomodation Guest Reviews

Set in the picturesque village of Bickenhill, Church Farm Accommodation offers a quiet, countryside bed and breakfast experience just a mile from the popular Resorts World Arena. Housed in converted stables, the rooms are self-contained, en-suite, and offer free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs—mixing rustic charm with modern comfort. With Birmingham city center just a 15-minute train ride away and the M42 only 5 minutes by car, this spot offers the perfect blend of accessibility and tranquility.
Just 1 mile from Resorts World Arena, you can be back in your room within minutes of the encore. It's in a quiet rural location—ideal for winding down after a loud night out. The self-contained rooms mean you won’t be disturbed by other guests coming in late, and with train access to Birmingham just 15 minutes away, you’re well-connected for gigs in the city too. While check-in starts from 3 PM, the peaceful surroundings and private entrances make late arrivals hassle-free.
Start your day right with a continental breakfast served daily, or indulge in a Full English breakfast on weekdays before heading to explore Birmingham. While there’s no on-site restaurant, several great pubs and restaurants lie within a 2-mile radius—perfect for a pre- or post-concert meal. Late-night food options may be limited onsite, but the closeness to Birmingham and Solihull offers plenty of nearby alternatives.
While Church Farm itself is more about countryside calm than live music, you’re just minutes from the buzz of Resorts World Arena and the entertainment complex at Resorts World Birmingham, which includes bars, restaurants, and even a casino. For a more chilled-out evening, nearby pubs offer a relaxed local vibe with real ales and friendly locals.
Rooms don’t have air conditioning, which can be noticeable in warmer months. Also, being in a rural location means limited late-night food delivery—so plan ahead if you’re coming back from a late gig craving snacks. Breakfast availability is more limited on weekends (no cooked options), but the continental spread is still satisfying.
Church Farm Accommodation is a peaceful, well-connected B&B that gives concert-goers a quiet, cozy place to recharge just minutes from the action.

Peaceful accommodation which is ran...
Liked: Everything! It’s easy to find but off the beaten track. Lovely clean and spacious rooms and it’s always nice to be somewhere where animals are. The horses were curios and one of them somewhat cheeky but that makes it all the better! The lady who runs it is very nice. It’s really a perfect place to stay
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The location was lovely, very quaint and pretty. We were pleasantly surprised with our room, which was one of 7 individual chalets set to one side of the courtyard. It was tastfully decorated with traditional decoration that was clean and minimal, also with its own shower room. Camilla was so welcoming and asked us as soon as we arrived what type of breakfast we would like and nailed down what time we were coming across to eat, so we all knew exactly what we were doing. We all have different tastes, and yet she cooked us all our own, individual varied, and tasty breakfasts. We needed a later checkout and prior to our arrival that was all arranged and sorted out. The farm is situated very close to Birmingham airport, so the planes landing and taking off are noisy. But you quickly get used to that.Thank you so much for being so accommodating, we would definitely recommend your B&B.
Disliked: Nothing.

Lovely property in great location...
Liked: A lovely place to stay, close to Birmingham airport and Birmingham International train station. It was a very good start to our holiday and made it possible for us to get away first thing in the morning for an early train. The room was good and the facilities were excellent. The owner was very helpful.
Disliked: Nothing. It’s a good example of a small, independent place to stay, especially if you want to avoid staying in some of the more soulless chain hotels near the airport.
