We had a wonderful time,...
Liked: The breakfast was wonderful, with several available options, including fruit, cereals, pastries, and hot breakfast dishes. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the whole historic aesthetic of the building itself was a true pleasure. We really felt wrapped in the history of the place.
Disliked: I have only two points of potential concern, but both of them have already been addressed to the greatest extent possible. First is parking. Spaces are necessarily limited, and if you plan to stay out late, you should be prepared to find no spaces available when you return. Return. However, the proprietors have arranged for overflow parking spaces about a block away, so this is a very minor concern. The second is the stairs. The proprietors are very clear from the beginning that as a historical house, there is no elevator. What may not be clear is that the stairs can be a little steep and narrow, making it difficult for people with bad knees or back problems to navigate easily. Again, this is not something that is within the ability of the staff to really change. It is just something that potential guests should make sure they understand.
