Brian, Rives Junction, visiting Reggie's Rock Club

I decided I would rather drive back home the same night than stay in this hotel overnight. It was just dirty/musty and stuffy. Would NEVER stay here again.

Liked: Nothing positive. Although I paid for the room I did NOT stay the night.
Disliked: Very dirty/musty room. A/C would not get the stuffiness out of the room, which also was very small/cramped. Staff, although friendly enough, was not helpful and hardly speak english (we live in United States!).

Serves a purpose, but only...

Liked: It's only a few stops on the red line to get to downtown and it's a third of the price of the hotels in that area. It serves a purpose if you're planning to be out and about all day. Staff were helpful.
Disliked: Ok it's cheap accommodation but that doesn't mean the corridors have to smell bad and the rooms are bordering on being unhygienic. Shower was grim, needs demoulding. Didn't see a cleaner at any point. Room needs repainting. Refurbishment seems long overdue.

Do not stay here!

Disliked: First time leaving a 1 star review cause I litterly have nothing positive to say.The room, I recieved was dirty in general. The floors were not cleaned and every towel or sheet had a hole or as stain. The fist major problem was the bathroom. The shower had LITTERAL MOLD, because there is no ventilation in the bathroom. I opened the window, which in itself was stick due to not being cleaned in ages.I was also told upon check in that there would be daily housekeeping. I've not recieved housekeeping once. Not even fresh towels. Also the bathroom had hair everywhere and ants. The last night before my check out date, the staff gave a KEY TO MY ROOM not to one but two different parties of new guest to check into the room, cause they ASSUMED I checked out. The Staff member came to my room and gave me attitude. After showing him my confirmation twice and him checking it in his system he dismissed me. No apology, no accountability for letting STRANGERS into my room. If I wasn't there I don't know what would have happened. Nothing got stolen, but the hotel guidelines make it very clear that the hotel won't take any liability in case od theft. The locals also described the alley as quite shady.I stayed for 4 days and paid around 550$, to almost get thrown out due to an error on the hotels part. The reservation was nonrefundable.I would not stay there again, if I was paid to do so.

Property is okay, not good…...

Liked: Location is good
Disliked: Property should be clean, they should provide tea/coffee in the room. Need to clean. Give more blanket… provide liquid soap and shampoo…

Good Location for White Sox...

Liked: Basic hotel as expected. It was close to the red line. Room was small, but quiet. I was able to get a good night's sleep. The shower had hot water. I'd consider this hotel again.
Disliked: Window sills could use a paint job. Not a big deal to me.
