Disappointing - 2 out of 5

Brian, Rives Junction, visiting Reggie's Rock Club Mon, 12 August 2013

I decided I would rather drive back home the same night than stay in this hotel overnight. It was just dirty/musty and stuffy. Would NEVER stay here again.

Liked: Nothing positive. Although I paid for the room I did NOT stay the night.
Disliked: Very dirty/musty room. A/C would not get the stuffiness out of the room, which also was very small/cramped. Staff, although friendly enough, was not helpful and hardly speak english (we live in United States!).

Liked: The location and then staff being friendly and helpful
Disliked: That there's no microwave/ fridge in the room. Also the furniture needs to be updated, looks old and was having doubt there might be bed bugs.

I had to call the...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: First of all the room was dirty, with hair of other guests in the shower and on the bed. Also the hotel is very outdated, but this is not the worst part. One of the other guests was being loud at midnight and one of the other guests called the police on them, while the hotel management did nothing about it. At 3 am the same guest started being loud again and this time the lady that was with him started yelling like he was hurting her. Even at this point the hotel management did nothing about it and other guests and myself had to call the police to have them kick out. I didn?t feel safe at all and my room was right in front of the room with the people causing trouble. I had to move some of the forniture because I felt like the outdated door could be opened with no issue. As a solo traveler and female safety is super important and I did not feel safe. I understand that the hotel management cannot control what guests do, but they should have done something about it and not let the other guests deal with it. The next morning I checked out (a day before than I was supposed to) and the guy at the front desk (the same guy that was there the night before and did nothing about the situation) didn?t say anything about what happened the night before or tried to apologize. Worst experience ever.
