Disliked: Every surface from the walls to the carpet were nasty. You can visualy see dirty hand prints all over the walls and bathroom. The pool was so dirty and discusting the kids were grossed out. When we complaned the women just shrugged. My brother was in a differnt room and my daughter and family in another. They were all equaly bad.

great stay for cheap

Liked: the price and the cleanness of the rooms. wasn't too far from Chicago.
Disliked: it was hard trying to get extra towels. they should be more stricter on their smoking policies, there were customer smoking Marijuana in the hotel and it linger all throughout the hotel. we had kids with us and it was not pleasant

Hotel needs some serious updates...

Liked: Not much of anything.
Disliked: The pillows were terrible and gave no support. We had no complimentary soap, only shampoo. The hallway outside the elevator was dirty. The pool area was hideous. The water was cloudy, the hot tub wasn't working and looked to be in disrepair. The walls were bubbling, peeling and crumbling due to the humidity and moisture. The complimentary breakfast was pretty scarce. There was hardly anything to eat and the eating area was not inviting at all. The clerk at the desk gave us a key to a room and told us how to get there, when we got to the room there was a cleaning person in there and it wasn't even available yet. Thankfully the clerk came down the hallway after we got up there and he said we could have the room next door, which looked like it had just been cleaned, he said he will go down and get me key for this room. We entered the room and waited for the clerk to come back with the key. After about 10-15 min I went back downstairs and saw the clerk at the counter, when I confronted him about the key he asked me what room I was in and then made the key for me. Apparently he expected me to come down and remind him to do his job and he just forgot about us in the room. It was a disappointing stay, to say the least.

Poor

Disliked: The smell of pine-sol was so overpowering as soon as you walked in. The facility said no smoking allowed, but the room reeked of cigarette smoke and pine-sol. The pillows were very small like couch pillows and uncomfortable.
