Overall lovely

Liked: Fabulous location, good size car park. Swiss chalet style accommodation, great food, lovely grounds including small lake, plenty of wild life
Disliked: Dark poor lighting in rooms, bad positioning of wall mirror over dressing table, general decor and furnishings a little tired. Generally pricey on bar drinks.. Problems and eventual refusal to set up room charges, although managed to set up the previous day.. Different staff.

Underwhelming for the price

Liked: Welcoming staff, grounds clean
Disliked: No table to sit outside, mis match outside furniture. Wasps in bedroom, inside cobwebs. Unable to access pool/spa facilities for the full day, check in was 4pm access started at 8pm for 1 hour

A hidden gem! My favorite...

Liked: The Chevin is my favorite place to stay when i need relaxation, excellent food and a beautiful spa. ~We stayed in log cabin 70 - its just as beautiful as Centre Parcs but 75% cheaper. I would get married here its absolutely stunning.
