Very pleasant

Disliked: Breakfast. The plates were cold which cooled the food very quickly. Some form of plate warmer would greatly enhance the meal.

Liked: Handy for transport into city, comfortable bed, complimentary tea/ coffee/ etc. lovely hot shower with fresh towels,Nice breakfast and lovely lady in charge. Value for money and would highly recommend. 5* from me.

Liked: The bed was great, towels big, soft, luxurious so have already ordered some, everything was clean, shower spotless and although breakfast was included, I got up late after long drive and as meeting someone for early lunch skipped it so sorry I can’t confirm that was good to but sure it would have been

Liked: The family room was lovely, well equipped with very comfortable beds.
Disliked: Breakfast was ok but not great… no real healthy option to speak of and the staff were not particularly helpful.

Liked: Chester house guest house was in a fabulous location, 20 mins walk to chester and Hoole was on the doorstep, 2 mins walk to some lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. Chester house is a beautiful property, quirky ornaments, very clean, our room was absolutely lovely even a jacuzzi bath. Would definitely recommend.

Liked: A very pleasant area. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely staff, great room, great...

Liked: Good sized room in a very quiet area of the hotel. Well stocked tea & coffee, a fridge and also a microwave, which was unexpected. The addition of a fan was very welcome as it was really warm.
Disliked: Although the breakfast has moved to a really nice new room (I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past), I found the hot buffet element to not be very hot, which spoilt the breakfast a little. The quality of the ingredients was good as always, but I would like the hot breakfast to be hot.
