Great price, stay and location

Liked: Amazing apartment, great location and free parking. Lovely breakfast included. Would recommend a stay here and a visit to Nantwich, especially on a market day.
Disliked: Just needs a few minorvupdates in kitchen and bathroom, apart from that it was a great stay.

Seriously think again before staying...

Liked: The only positive things to say about our stay was that the food was hot fresh and delicious. Along with the staff who were friendly and helpful when we ordered a drink and some food when we arrived a few hours before we could check in.
Disliked: Where do I start, the first thing that greeted us when we went into the bedroom was an empty sanitary towel wrapper on the floor in the corner of the room and a dubious brown stain at the side of the bed. The bed itself was reasonably comfortable but the heat in the room during the night was unbearable, 18 degrees outside, like the interior walls of Vesuvius inside. All that the supplied fan did was blow hot air around the room and add to the noise from the club next door. The metal corner of the bed was hanging off. The bedroom consisted of a bed wardrobe chair table and mirror. No wall decorations just very minimalist. There were food crumbs and a peanut on the floor in the kitchen and stains on the kitchen top, like someone had just made a cup of tea and dropped the teabag. Could easily have been removed by a wet cloth. The lounge had stains all over the floor and the bathroom had mould between a lot of the tiles and the plywood pipe cover was hanging off. The bathroom mirror had three of its eight lights working. The shower was excellent though. We were allocated to the mews that, as we thought was more expensive than the rooms at the rear of the hotel they would be of higher quality. How very wrong we were. The noise in the night time from the “nightclub” next door went on till around 0200 hrs all we could hear was the thump thump thump of rhythmic dance music, which incidentally is fine when I’m out late drinking but not when your trying to sleep after a long day. Then all the drunken people started emptying onto the street in front of our windows generally being very loud and boisterous. Then all the taxis or cars started arriving to collect them. We probably settled down to a bit of quietness around 0330 hrs. Then as it was getting light around 0430hrs the sound of cars and trucks started driving along the road again. Overall the property was in dire need of a good deep clean and redecoration.

Liked: Staff was friendly when we arrived and showed us to our room. Slept like a log that night, bed was comfortable and air conditioning was great.Very quaint facilities and we enjoyed spending time in the pub. Breakfast the next morning was good and the waitstaff friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.
Disliked: There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Liked: Have stayed last year. The character of the building, the sympathetic way to keep its character.
Disliked: Luckily we got a parking space, that does go with the property.
