Cherry Valley Hotel

After having booked a room many many months in advance, missed a call from the hotel two hours before check in. When we showed up was told the AC had went out and they didn't want to rent the room. Offered no solutions or other accommodations. So we were left scrambling to find a room the week of the 4th of July at last minute.

Liked: Very pretty, beautiful lobby and outdoor area.
Disliked: The king size bed was very dreamy, like a cloud. I loved it. But if you need any support while sleeping this isn’t the bed for you. Very spacious rooms, bathroom size was perfect but someone forgot to clean the tub and shower walls. I had to scrub the film off before we could use them. And if you plan to use the pull out bed “Don’t”. Those need replaced. Overall, nice place but needs some updating and a little more attention to cleanliness. We found several teddy grahams and M&M’s all throughout the sectional and pull out bed. The staff were wonderful, the restaurant was great with the exception of the lighting. I’m in agreeance with low light at dinner but it was way too dark. We had breakfast before leaving and it was wonderful! Overall we had a pleasant time!

Disliked: Housekeeper only came in our room once for a 10 night stay. We had to ask for clean towels and they never changed sheets

Disliked: Late check in, didn’t have toilet paper, a/c didn’t work good, did not accommodate disabled husband with parking or easy accessibility to rooms, creepy pictures hanging above the bed, no privacy from others in the room by sinks to brush teeth or change clothes with more room.
