Disappointed

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The property was very disappointing. Guests were running around during early mornings and late hours, with no consideration that others were staying on the property. The room itself was very dirty carpet and sheets had stains, the bathroom was unclean, and the pillows were uncomfortable. For the price charged, the service and cleanliness were unacceptable. I wouldn’t mind paying more if the rooms and service matched the cost, but this was far from the case.

Disliked: The bathroom was not very clean shower hasn’t been throughly cleaned in awhile, floor was not mopped and the handle broke on the toilet, called at 7:00 am and finally the maintenance man came to room at 10:00 when I called front desk again!

Liked: Clean and up-to-date spacious, air exhaust in the bathrooms that actually work, shuttle bus to downtown and back, great variety of hot breakfast, balcony overlooking the lake with a beachfront, excellent, friendly staff, easy parking, safe location
Disliked: Exercise room is small, not much ventilation very few workout equipment available, indoor swimming pool is small

It was my family’s first...

Liked: The location was great, however anywhere on the Bay is going to give you a good view. The water is VERY shallow on the resorts beach so they do not hand boat rentals at this location. I feel like that was not committed to us prior to our visit. Also the free breakfast every morning was a very nice addition to our stay!
Disliked: The rooms and facilities were all very clean but the resort needs an update. Also the one paddle board they offered guests was in rough shape.

Liked: Having the bay, indoor, and outdoor pools
Disliked: The bathroom outside was not working, and the shower outside was broke. Dirty towels lining the hallways for days and trash. The sand on the beach is not be8ng cleaned. Not enough towels or washcloths. I had to go to the front desk twice, cause there weren't any clean towels. The 4th floor smelled like a petting zoo. The hotel has gone down tremendously since the new management company took over a few years ago. I've been staying at Cherry Tree for the last eight years, and I'm not sure I'll be back. I think I can stay elsewhere and get exactly what I'm paying for.
