Liked: Excellent family run hotel in a building full of history. The setting was beautiful, with lovely walks through the countryside, and easy transport links. The breakfast was amazing. Also, you have use of the garden and a lovely living room with games and tv.
Disliked: As it's an old building, the WiFi wasn't great in some of the bedrooms. Maybe they should get some extenders that work through the plug sockets. However, the living room was perfect to work from, so it was just a minor inconvenience.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delightful.
Disliked: It was very outdated and needs a lot of work to get it up to its 4* rating. We were expecting something quite luxurious and we were very disappointed. I would say this hotel in its present condition is a 2* with the potential of becoming a 4*.

Great for an overnight stay....

Liked: The views were fabulous, the breakfast conservatory was bright and welcoming. Extremely clean. Lovely breakfast.
Disliked: We could hear a lot of traffic, it’s on a main road, not helped by traffic lights and road works. Small room, but adequate, uncomfortable bed. The garden wasn’t very welcoming, needed a bit of tidying and organising.
