Chelsea Hotel Toronto

Had we known, that since our trip to Toronto was to keep an early appointment at the hospital we could have had a reduced rate. We were disappointed that we were not informed. I also feel it should not have been neccessary to pay for our stay when we booked the room nearly two months ahead of time. What would we have done if we had had to cancel. No refund probably!

Perfect location; everything was accessible and in walking distance.

Liked: The room was fairly big, clean and updated.
Disliked: The room was too warm and we could not control the thermostat at all.

AMAZING! We even got an upgrade when we got there to a newer room, just because of a birthday. Also free parking! Very nice and clean.

Liked: Great location! Everything was in walking distance within a mile or so radius. Staff were friendly and helpful when I needed anything. Good soundproof doors between the balcony/room (handy as I was facing the current construction sites). I only used the pool once, but it's a good facility to have, wish I'd had time to use it more, and the view from the outside terrace of the CN Tower was fab.
Disliked: There were tea making facilities, but only disposable cups provided.... I did ask if I could take cups and glasses to the room and was allowed with no issues, it just seemed a little odd to not provide them as standard.

Liked: This was a return visit for my family. We booked a night at the end of a longer trip so that our daughters could enjoy the pool, particularly the water slide. It was well worth the wait, in their opinion. While we didn't have time to enjoy the city on this trip, the location was one of our considerations in selecting the hotel last time.
