Henry, St. George, visiting Toronto General Hospital

Had we known, that since our trip to Toronto was to keep an early appointment at the hospital we could have had a reduced rate. We were disappointed that we were not informed. I also feel it should not have been neccessary to pay for our stay when we booked the room nearly two months ahead of time. What would we have done if we had had to cancel. No refund probably!

The hotel is in a...

Liked: The hotel was the best priced in the area with a great location (so easy to walk to everything). Parking was easy, beds were comfy and the room was clean and cool.
Disliked: Our stay was great except for being woken up by housekeeping at 9:00, 10:00, and 10:15 despite having a check out time of 11:00am. The bathroom was a little small, but we made it work!

Disappointed

Liked: Location Concierge ( at the reception) staff were amazing and very understanding.My son loved the pool. I found it okay and I didn't like the fact that they don't provide life jackets to kids .
Disliked: Cleanness, lack of basic items: empty cups in the bathroom, water bottles in the fridge ( free of charge), the mattress and the pillows were not comfortable and old, carpet smelling, sheets not all replaced, staff at the reception desk not friendly during the checkout. We were given a connecting room where we were able to hear everything from our neighbours. The staff at the reception desk promised to give us a great view but we were given a room facing construction.

Disliked: My bathroom was in poor state , paint chipping off the bath and the plug did not work, i complained twice and was told that someone would come and have a look but never did
