Had we known, that since our trip to Toronto was to keep an early appointment at the hospital we could have had a reduced rate. We were disappointed that we were not informed. I also feel it should not have been neccessary to pay for our stay when we booked the room nearly two months ahead of time. What would we have done if we had had to cancel. No refund probably!

Liked: The room was fairly big, clean and updated.
Disliked: The room was too warm and we could not control the thermostat at all.

AMAZING! We even got an upgrade when we got there to a newer room, just because of a birthday. Also free parking! Very nice and clean.

Disliked: When we came up from the parking.. and waited in life for almost a hour!.. they couldn't figure me my reservation!.. The Girl that checked us in she was nice but barely spoke English it was very hard to understand her!.. Went to take a shower and the bathtub floor was dirty and there was mould on the tiles I think it's time for a update when u walked through the halls to get to ur room wallpaper was starting to come down and holes where punched in the walls! Hope this helps! I'm not one to complain but when ur soending $260 a night somewhere u would think it would be a little more clean! Thank you for your time! Caterina Maria

Hotel Needs a Makeover
Liked: The restaurant food is excellent and the staff were welcoming and gracious.
Disliked: The rooms are small and the decor is tired. Concierge staff were uninformed and in a hurry. Front desk staff were overwhelmed with volume of customers.

Disliked: Booked a Queen Deluxe room, was given a double. As we were pressed for time we could not wait around to change the room,thus we settled. Furniture in the room was tired and old. Cleanliness of room was not great. As someone who works in the entertainment business I stay at hotels often. I would not recommend this hotel to my colleagues or friends.

Liked: It was in the perfect location for my wife's hospital appointments.
Disliked: The hotel is very tired and run down. The rooms are very basic and bathrooms are terrible.

Liked: the pool/fitness area for adults was amazing. A real jem downtown. Felt like a resort but close to everything.

Disliked: Stayed here probably 6 times in the last year. The people are terrible. No sense of urgency. And amassive sense or entitlement. It's been the same thing every time. I've never been allowed late check out. Getting a toothbrush is impossible. Also of you ever require 2 beds this is also a difficult feat of you've booked on hotwire. Even when there is lots of availability. The staff always leave a bad taste in my mouth. Everything else is passable.

2 1/2 Star Room for...
Liked: The support staff was great, the bed was comfortable, great location, and free wi-fi.
Disliked: You're paying for the location and thus you're drastically overpaying for an underwhelming room. Room was dated, air conditioner was inconsistent and super loud, instant coffee instead of fresh coffee, behind counter staff a bit pushy and not overly friendly, cable did not work, they charge for local calls.
