The ups and downs in...

Liked: I liked the hotel and its setting. The lake location is beautiful. The facilities are excellent, and there are places to be with friends, have events, and relax. Everything at the hotel was fine until our last day. That morning my husband had a zoom meeting that lasted until the early afternoon. After the call, I removed the "do not disturb" sign from our door and asked the front desk to have the room cleaned, and we went out. Not only did the room not get cleaned, no turn down service happened either. When I told the front desk the next morning, they apologized, but offered no explanation or attempt to compensate even in a small way.
Disliked: The restaurant had.problems in the kitchen. They couldn't keep up with the orders and made people wait almost 30 minutes for food. Others who were staying at the hotel were turned away so the kitchen could catch up. The last day of our stay, no one could charge food to their rooms because there were computer problems. So, it seemed like there was always something behind the scenes that didn't work.

Overall a good stay, service...

Liked: Comfortable atmosphere for breakfast and dinner. Outdoor seating was lovely for dinner.
Disliked: Food was lukewarm at best. Oatmeal was a large portion but very gummy. Dinner was the same -cold meals at high prices.Restaurant does NOT offer any Vegan, gluten free or alternative milk options. Today that should be a standard offering in hotels.

The location and property of...

Liked: This hotel has thought of everything - from the amazing spots outside to sit and watch the sunset to the turndown service with chocolates on our pillows at night. Also, the bed was super comfy. I literally took a picture of the tag on the sheets because I wanted to purchase them. :) We were only there for a night but could have definitely stayed longer. We were in town for the Comedy Festival and this hotel was very accessible to the events by car.
Disliked: The price for our stay was a bit steep, but you get what you pay for!

Liked: Absolutely beautiful property at the lake. The restaurant is highly recommended, and food was delicious, although it was a bit pricey. Will definitely return to this property. Staff members were very courteous...except for the manager.
Disliked: The manager customer service skills were lacking in some areas.

Liked: Loved the location, fitness center, carousel bar, and room.
Disliked: We had 4 servers at the hotel. Three were great! One was horrible. Also no room service despite being out of the room all day x 2 days
