We love the location, the...

Liked: I love the location and the ambiance of a boutique hotel.
Disliked: We have been there several times in the last twenty years, and this time I found the hotel a little bit neglected. The carpets in the hallways and stairs were old and the paint in our room and common areas was a bit chipped in places.

Exceptional

Liked: Great location and a wonderful home for visiting Montreal. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I am not entirely sure our A/C was working.

Ugh. Don’t choose this place....

Liked: The bed was comfortable and they serviced the room daily
Disliked: There is no elevator, the fixtures in the room are very old and worn out. The carpet was old and gross. The toilet was very low to the ground and barely flushed. The shower temperature was difficult to control. The sink sprayed water all over. The valet parking took 40 mins to retrieve the car. The breakfast was pretty crappy

Overpriced. Better options available further...

Liked: The location was good. Close to subway just a block away and buses on your doorstep. Fine Arts Museum just up the road.
Disliked: Quite rundown. Could do with a refurb or at the least a coat of paint on the marked walls. Smallest bed we’ve ever slept in at a hotel. Breakfast was very lean and most days you could hear guests requesting the coffee and hot water be refilled.
