Wonderful. We really do hope...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. There was plenty of choice and staff were very attentive, pleasant and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved the location. Beautiful grounds and loved the walks and cycle rides to Valkenburg. We had dinner in the restaurant on our second night which was delicious. The coffee shop was a lovely cosy place and we enjoyed a few drinks there but did not have a meal there as we were already booked into the main restaurant. We found the staff to be friendly and happy to chat with us and share their knowledge of the building. We loved the swimming pool and spa. Unfortunately we did not have time to have a spa treatment but maybe on our next visit.
Disliked: Nothing - we loved it all.

We absolutely loved our stay...

Liked: We absolutely loved our stay. Such a beautiful location and being able to hire electric bikes was fabulous. Also having 2 restaurants is great as one is $ and the other is cafe style.
Disliked: There are steep stairs to bedroom and aircon was very loud in room cutting in and out.

Amazing location, beautiful hotel and...

Liked: The hotel itself and the property are extremely beautiful. It is surrounded by nature which is great especially if you’re looking to hike a bit in the surrounding area. The hotel was very relaxing and quiet. We travelled with our dog and there are many places on the hotel property and around it to walk your dog. The staff was very kind and welcoming, including to our dog. He received a lovely note, snacks and a bed when we arrived. My favorite part was the rose garden in which you can relax and watch the horses walk by in the evening. The breakfast was very delicious and had lots of options. All together it was a wonderful stay and the hotel exceeded my expectations.

Liked: Everything! The location, grounds, gardens, art, rooms and dining! Staff was welcoming and professional. They were available to help with planning excursions, ebike adventures, hiking trails. Every feature indoors and out was constantly perfect! I can’t wait to go back to this property!
Disliked: Seriously not a thing!

Incredible historic stay

Liked: Fairy tale facilities, each room must be an adventure to stay in.The staff was amazing, we arrived at 2am, and even at that hour, the night staff could talk about the history of the building, clearly they love this place!The building that our room was in, the breakfast and the reception buildings, all had such beautiful design respecting the history. We had a two bedroom residence and it had a very beautiful decoration.Pool building, the saunas, the sun beds were crisp and clean, the free drinks at the pool was a really nice touch, and I had never seen swimming suits sold by the pool, which is actually a very nice idea.The breakfast was also great.
Disliked: We had the two bedroom residence, it was one of the hottest days in the Netherlands, and the rooms felt really hot, we couldn't find the AC and the mosquito nets on the windows were broken. But windows helped, we had some fresh air, and really glad that we didn't get attacked by mosquitos :D
