Passable

Liked: Bed was comfortable, room size was decent. Heat and amenities all in good working condition. Although my experience wasn't the best this time around, I had great memories here in the past with previous ownership, and I may consider still coming back in the future.
Disliked: It's been several years since my first visits, After the remodel, the place is simple and modern and lacks the history it used to once contain. Some of The experiences in my opinion, are basic and are really expensive - they should be included if you have a hotel stay, but they are not. Unfortunately my first room had bed bugs when I arrived. The staff was immediately accommodating, even though they said they were fully booked for the night- they managed to get me into a different room right away, but still finding those would completely ruin anyone's experience.

Recommend the hotel and grounds...

Liked: Clean! Which is amazing for a NJ hotel! And beautifully decorated
Disliked: A bit pricey considering they charge for everything including water in room. No significant amenities.

Liked: The grounds of this hotel-resort are lovely. The grand staircase was especially pretty.
