Hungry after the show? The hotel’s dining options have you covered. La Ronde, the revolving rooftop restaurant, delivers fine dining with sweeping city views, perfect for a pre-show dinner. Bellamy's Lounge on the main level offers a more casual bite and drinks. While there’s no 24/7 room service, the in-room coffee machine is a great bonus for a morning pick-me-up. Plus, downtown Edmonton is full of walkable late-night eats just steps away.

Nightlife Options

Start your evening with craft cocktails at Bellamy’s Lounge, then head out to explore Edmonton’s nightlife. The hotel’s location makes it easy to walk to nearby bars, clubs, and music lounges. Whether you're looking for a low-key pint or a post-show dance floor, it’s all close by.

What People Say

Guests love the central location, noting how easy it is to get to shows and explore the city on foot. The views from La Ronde are frequently praised, as is the friendly staff and clean, well-maintained rooms. Many reviewers highlight the hotel’s classic charm and convenience.

Areas for Improvement

Some travelers mention the hotel has a slightly dated feel in common areas, though many find that it adds to the character. Parking is available but not included in the rate, so budget accordingly if you're driving.

The Bottom Line

The Chateau Lacombe Hotel is a classic downtown stay with unbeatable access to Edmonton's top concert venues and a relaxing vibe to come back to after the final encore.

Darren, Red Deer, visiting Starlite Room

This is the first time we have stayed in downtown Edmonton. We chose this hotel because it was close to the Starlite. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. The only complaint we had was the parking. Would stay there again if we were going to another show at the Starlite.

Liked: Location; clean; friendly staff.
Disliked: Pay for parking; no continental breakfast.

Liked: The room was clean and got a bit extra for my wedding night. Flowers were nice
Disliked: Customer service at front desk was awful. The guy there had no clue about anything. Gave me wrong pricing and had no idea about parking. Gave us wrong information and we were very confused. He was not helpful or friendly at all. Nobody here has a clue what is going on. Bad experience overall on our wedding night. Terrible location and no parking. Will never stay here again. Very stressful. Zero customer service.

Would not stay there again

Liked: The location was the only decent thing about this property.
Disliked: First all we had a late check in which they were aware of and we pulled up to the front of the building. Security told us we were not allowed to park to unload or check in even though it was 3 AM..Then the elevator would not go up I finally figured out I needed to swipe my card to get to the 20th floor, which was fine . But then the middle elevator swipe doesn’t work and is taped up… we get into the room and the wall has damage all over it. The beds are not comfortable. They’re extremely hard.. probably the top three worst stays in a hotel I’ve ever had. Also, the ice machine on our floor was broken when we brought it to the attention of stuff they said.” it’s broken again.?” concierge gave us some ice and in the ice bricks was black gunk.. so obviously they’re not cleaning their ice machines.
