Liked: Was right by the Starlite Room - very awesome not having a long walk.
Disliked: A microwave would have been nice.

Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

Darren, Red Deer, visiting Starlite Room Thu, 14 May 2015

This is the first time we have stayed in downtown Edmonton. We chose this hotel because it was close to the Starlite. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. The only complaint we had was the parking. Would stay there again if we were going to another show at the Starlite.

Liked: Location; clean; friendly staff.
Disliked: Pay for parking; no continental breakfast.

I would stay again.

Liked: Staff very nice and helpful.
Disliked: Tap in shower was stuck open and had to call for maintence. It stuck in the morning as well but managed to get it shut off.

Disappointing - 2.3 out of 5

Jannegarvez Thu, 13 December 2018

Disappointing

Disliked: It is an older hotel and the bathroom door was not able to lock, lacked amenities like complimentary breakfast, not enough vending machines, and cards demagnetized. It wasn?t worth the nightly prices we were charged.

Good

Liked: The room was clean, location was great, and I loved that their soaps and lotions were created by an indigenous owned company. The pet fee is very reasonable at $25 per stay.
Disliked: There were a lot of hidden fees that weren't disclosed at the time of booking. My stay ended up costing $130 more than I was quoted. The concierge asked me if I wanted parking, but neglected to disclose that it was $20 a day.

Disappointed. Won?t stay there again.

Liked: The bed was comfy. But not the pillows. Staff was mostly good. The waitress in the lounge was excellent.
Disliked: Paying extra for parking. Food was not great. Pillows were not great. Towels are small and scratchy. Phone in room didn?t work. There was no fridge. But as soon as I asked about it they brought me one.
