Liked: Was right by the Starlite Room - very awesome not having a long walk.
Disliked: A microwave would have been nice.

This is the first time we have stayed in downtown Edmonton. We chose this hotel because it was close to the Starlite. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. The only complaint we had was the parking. Would stay there again if we were going to another show at the Starlite.
Liked: Location; clean; friendly staff.
Disliked: Pay for parking; no continental breakfast.

I would stay again.
Liked: Staff very nice and helpful.
Disliked: Tap in shower was stuck open and had to call for maintence. It stuck in the morning as well but managed to get it shut off.

Liked: First time going to the Bellamy Lounge and the service was wonderful! The Concierge Lounge is very nice as well. This hotel is in a great location in downtown Edmonton.
Disliked: Would've been nice if the lounges stayed open a bit later.

Good for a cheap night's...
Liked: The price was very good for downtown and the beds were comfortable. Parking is decent if you have a small car.
Disliked: Needs major modernization; more than one plug in... TV kept powering on and off. It's also quite noisy but likely b/c it's an older building. Elevators take FOREVER. Bathroom was old and needs updating, new tiles, modern toilet. I would stay there for a quick business trip, but no stays longer than a night.

A lovely view and no...
Liked: The river valley view we had from our window was gorgeous. This hotel is located close to the Alberta Legislative grounds so we were just a short walk back to our room after the Canada Day fireworks. The beds are super comfy and the breakfast buffet (though very pricey compared to other other hotels in the city) the next morning had a lot of variety as well, we both enjoyed the french toast Nutella sandwiches and the mini cheese board.
Disliked: Next time we'll definitely ask to be on a floor with an ice machine on it, not the end of the world but mildly annoying. I did think it was odd that the scrambled eggs had all kinds of ingredients that someone with an allergy may not have been able to enjoy- usually hotels go plain for this reason, and at $20/person I'd be mad if I was affected. For the record, they were delicious.

Dated hotel, awful experience.
Disliked: The smoke detector was triggered when I was taking a shower. twice. I was disrespected by the rude manager. The worst hotel experience ever.
