Superb

Liked: Perfect location, friendly and professional staff, especially Mrs. Elaine and the room service staff. A perfectly sized hotel, cozy and relaxing.
Disliked: Need to pay a high price for the parking lot. The pool was fine but needs a little cleaning around it.

Great location, but room comfort...

Liked: For the combination of price and location, this hotel is hard to beat. It’s located right in the French Quarter, with tons to do and see just a short walk away—which you’ll definitely appreciate in the Louisiana heat! The room included a private bathroom and a very spacious bed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful; they even arranged an airport taxi for us at 3 a.m. I had to contact them a couple of times both before and after our stay, and each time I received timely, kind responses.I also felt very safe staying here. There’s always a receptionist at the entrance, and access is limited to guests with room keys. The back patio with the pool is absolutely stunning. There’s plenty of space to lounge, and the pool itself is gorgeous—a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.!
Disliked: Maybe it’s part of the old charm of the building, but the room didn’t feel particularly clean—especially the bathroom. There was some kind of growth inside the bathroom light fixture that made the lighting dim, and overall the bathroom just didn’t feel very fresh. The toilet also made a strange noise every time you sat down.AC is absolutely necessary in New Orleans, otherwise everything feels damp from the humidity. That said, the room was freezing, and the bed blanket wasn’t enough to stay warm at night. We requested extra blankets, which the receptionist kindly provided, but even with two extra blankets (and some towels stacked on top), we were still cold while trying to sleep. I’d definitely recommend bringing warm sleepwear—and maybe even a blanket of your own if you can pack it.The room was small, which was fine—we only needed it to sleep—but there wasn’t any seating beyond the bed. At times we sat on the floor to get a break from the AC, or used the outdoor seating area right outside the door, which is pleasant if you can tolerate the heat and humidity. One more practical note: there's no fridge in the room (as noted in the booking), so don’t plan on saving any leftovers!
