Liked: Wine Tour was the best! Highly recommend. Beautiful property, big room. Very well kept/mantained.
Disliked: The food was okay. Pricing of food did not match the value. Food was overpriced and was just didn't live up to the hype from what other reviews said and did not meet our expectations.

Liked: Laid back, smells like money (pine scent) when you walk through the doors. THE POOL and hot tub pool is a worth every dime, the food is country club like, the staff is professional, the bed is restful, the room is very nice. The winery is as glorious the outdoor grounds where you can sit in an Adirondack chair and watch the beauty of the location or take a winery tour.
Disliked: THIS visit, we noticed food on top of the trash can outside the pool kitchen left from the night before, the staff was slashed, the hot tub wasn’t hot and/or not working both days an on July 4th. Although we liked the fact that it was peaceful on the forth, Chateau had its cookout and fireworks on the 5th with really no notification. It changed this year. The front desk didn’t give us any info as they should have for a place if these caliber. The shower… might have has a little mildew in tiny places? The winery closed at 7:00 on July 4th ( so no way to buy wine) the gift shop was closed (wine is there as well) and the winery was closed at 11:30 when we were leaving. Maybe the cut staff? Our room backed up to the trees and a gravel driveway. They could have done better seeing their attendance was sparse and we have been coming there for 15-20 years. Chateau was intentionally a taste of France but you can kind of tell someone else owns it.
