Liked: It was a comfortable place near Poitiers where we had to be
Disliked: It’s a bit dated, the room was blinded: no view. No elevator, but it was ok. The bed was uncomfortable. It was noisy

Charmless and a bit expensive....

Liked: The location is fine if you are going to the Futuroscope. The breakfast is nice (could be better with some improvements). The restaurant is nice
Disliked: The property design is a little old and tasteless. You have to look for the staff if you need something. They are nice but absent. You never know if they are truly nice or just professional. The rooms are not cozy.They look corporate and charmless.

What a waste of 200...

Liked: Lovely location.
Disliked: 200 EURO for a room with no window. No space in the restaurant either. So, no gourmet dinner.

Could do better, not value...

Liked: Staff and food in the restaurant excellent. Friendly and knowledgable.
Disliked: Poor concierge. Scruffy surroundings. Stuck out in the annexe which is very tired. Wrong size bed for the bedside lamps - too smallNot welcomingPoor in room facilities - tea bags without a kettle.No introduction to spa facilities. Poor communication

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location is good if you are looking for something really close to the highway
Disliked: The room was quite ugly with plastic floors and cheap, contemporary furniture. Our room was also in one of the side buildings which design had nothing to do with the design and character of the main chateau. It was very disappointing to have this room after seeing all the images of the chateau. We could have stayed at Ibis Budget for exact same quality of a room but three times cheaper. We arrived at 7pm and the sauna and wellness were already closed so we couldn't really use any facilities.

Good

Liked: Fabulous building and location. Good communication from reception and at check-in we were brought to the room and not just handed a key. Plenty of parking right next to the room which was spacious. The room we had in the Pavilion was quiet and the bed was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nice modern shower/WC and plenty of quality tea, coffee, toiletries, water etc. and decent stocked mini-fridge.
Disliked: The room was so warm with no possibility to turn the heated flooring down so were unbearably hot despite the overnight outside temp of just 8degrees. The room was a bit tired: the carpet at the door and the rug on the floor was very dirty looking, perhaps as we had a room which allowed dogs, however at this price range I expect better. Under the edge of foot of the bed our dog found a toy left from the previous occupant which leads me to believe it was not properly cleaned under there between stays.
