Liked: outside a castle, inside a contemporary hotel.Grilled dishes recommended!Public transport pass free for hotel guests.Good beds, good room size, nice towels snd bathrobes.
Disliked: Staff is obviously trying their best, but not always succeeding to meet 4**** quality. Quality room -only bookable for duos on Booking - with ‘lake view’ is in fact exposed to traffic noise until 1 am and starting again at 5.30 am, so no choice other than a noisy airco. See pic.Dessert kitchen staff should reread standard recipe on cherry clafoutis. Uncooked pastry is not part of it at all.Even 3 grade Genius guests get no extras.

Liked: Location is fabulous. Clean, spacious and quiet room. Great staff and service.
Disliked: Arrival experience and lobby area are not great for such a grand building. Lacks a comfortable, separate lounge area and understandably in an historic building, as there is no space for a gym, it is necessary to use a nearby sister hotel. Spa is also very small.

Liked: The view from this property is simply breathtaking: ice blue Lake Geneva with the mountains in the background. This is an amazing property to stay in Lausanne.
