charming location

Perfect location in the Salinas...

Liked: Character building with a story, as well, the location between Monterey and Salinas was great, very centrally located and easy to get to the communities and amenities in the area.
Disliked: Things were not prepared in the room as advertised. When I contacted the host, they were not able to address them for me until sometime the next day.

Liked: Attractive property in a gated estate, close to restaurants, nice semi-rural location. Comfortable clean bed.
Disliked: Internal decoration a little faux-authentic which took away from the period ambience expected of the residence.

Liked: Very quite surrounding.
Disliked: We certainly will never book this hotel again. There is no human being around and the telephone hotline is a catastrophe. It took ages to get the pin for our rooms. Additionally, the word "chateau" is somewhat farfetched if you are European. And the rooms do not hold the promise the exterior makes. The furniture is put together in bits and pieces much for show but without any taste. But the check-in certainly is the worst feature here. Not to be recommended.
