Liked: The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The historic home was beautiful.
Disliked: Checking in was difficult. No person on site and much confusion about the validity of our credit card. It took a long time to get it settled. A call to our credit company showed the error to be the Chateau’s. It was frustrating dealing with the issue on the phone, and wasn’t settled until a staff person drove to rental and we paid in cash.

A special place to stay.

Liked: 125+ year old historic home with very good vibes. 🙂

Cool old Victorian that needs...

Liked: Great staff and cool old house!
Disliked: I know the house is old and I love that about this place, but there was mold on the shower curtain and under the anti splash guards on the tub. The ceiling had a large crack with bubbling paint. You can see where water leaks have happened and someone slapped a wad of plaster over the top. The wood around the windows is rotten and needing repair as well. I hope at some point they can invest some money in this beautiful old mansion and bring it back to its prime, because it’s a really cool house!

Disliked: A bit difficult to find without Google Maps as it's actually off the main road so the address is confusing.
