Liked: Location is ideal, the staff were very helpful and the beds are comfy. The room was big enough for our group, we loved the bar and it felt very safe and secure in a very busy area. Also wants too loud despite the busy street.
Disliked: Room was cleaned once in 3 days, the room was very warm and we had to request a fan.

Liked: The triple room was larger than expected. Breakfast included a good selection and the dining room was never over crowded.
Disliked: The location for reasons of getting around the city was great BUT while the hotel and staff were very family friendly, if you have a child who is prone to asking a lot of questions be prepared to have some explainations for all the "Sexy Lady" establishments nearby. :)

Liked: The room had a great shower; good water pressure and spacious too. The room was a triangle, which meant that I had a window in the bathroom too (keep reading, this will become relevant). The bed, too, and especially the sheets and pillows, was comfy. The location is all right for public transport, especially if you don't mind walking a few minutes to the neighboring stations, as you'll find lines there that will take you to most places.
Disliked: There were so many things wrong or subpar at this hotel that I wonder how they get a 4-star rating.The breakfast is an easy one; besides some lackluster cucumber and tomato slices, nothing was fresh. No fresh fruit or healthy options. The scrambled eggs were the most bland I've ever tasted (or didn't taste, I guess). I even tried to get a refund for the remaining days after two days of trying, but I got an evasive answer and I decided it was a sunk cost and skipped the breakfast the remaining days. For some reason the staff puts all the necessary plates and cups on the tables, so everyone has to walk back and forth to get them, instead of having a stack next to the buffet. This also meant that the staff had to rearrange the plates the whole time because people didn't get the stuff from 'their' table. Silly system. By the number of plates put out it's visible that this hotel is far from fully booked, so it all gives the feeling that it's being milked before selling it.The temperature in the lobby and reception area is high enough to break into a sweat just by entering them. The airconditioning is also only blasting hot air even at the coldest setting, so I had to turn that off and open the windows. Bathroom window was open the entire time, and i had to close the bedroom window because of the street noise at night. But the temperature would be bearable as the day temperature in Paris didn't get too high during my stay. According to the staff the temperature was due to the system not being switched to summer setting, but that just means they're too late with the switch.Tapwater was also often warm to really hot (too hot to touch actually) which is annoying if you want to have a glass of water or wash your hands. Shower had to cool down too but that went as quickly as other showers take to warm up.The noise wasn't limited to outside. Inside you could hear doors slam (no dampeners on closing doors...
