Liked: The staff were lovely. The hotel was clean and comfortable and overall it was good value for money. The location was great for us as we were visiting relatives in Whitehaven. Easy to walk into town for a few drinks on Saturday night. The bar terrace area was lovely and the bar prices were very reasonable.
Disliked: The breakfast service was a bit slow but there was an event going on that day so I assume that impacted on service.

Liked: The location.
Disliked: The bathroom was not particularly clean. The waste pipe under the sink was leaking and didn’t get fixed for 4 days. There was a bucket underneath it which I had to empty myself, before it overflowed. It wasn’t until i said I’m not going to empty it anymore, and if it overflows and goes into the room below, then so be it. It as then fixed within hours.
