Nothing special, but it is...

Liked: Convenient location of the hotel on Banff Avenue. There is convenient parking. The room is quite spacious and quiet. There is a shower and a bath. The hotel has a swimming pool. Wi-Fi is fast enough.
Disliked: The receptionist did not warn about the availability and amount of the deposit. The central heating was turned off, although there were frosts at night. The air conditioner works for heating, but it is quite noisy, and cold air blows from outside when AC turned off.

The room suited our purposes...

Liked: Room was large, beds were comfortable. Parking undercover is available onsite (for a daily fee $15) It’s a short 20min walk into town.
Disliked: The lift is tiny and they close and lock the front doors at 10pm so you have to walk up the outside stairs to get to your room. Locating the second set of stairs in the dark was difficult! Rooms are accessed by verandahs which are open to the weather rain/snow and you can’t get past the housekeeping staff trolley! Showers weren’t very hot and pressure was low. Female staff looked miserable at all times.
