Superb

Liked: Since there were four of us we used your lounge both nights we were there and Adrian who worked the 3-11 pm shift was helpful and attentive. He helped fix the TV so we could watch the hockey game and got us anything we needed/requested. He chatted with us when time permitted and was pleasant and informative. We appreciated that personal connection.
Disliked: The bed was a little too soft.

Overpriced and poorly maintained

Liked: The hotel is located far from the business district and does not offer breakfast.
Disliked: I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The room was far below what I expected for the price I paid. The facilities were old and poorly maintained — the furniture was worn, the carpet was stained, and the bathroom had rusted fixtures and inconsistent water pressure. Everything felt outdated and neglected.Cleanliness was also a major issue. The room had a musty smell, there was dust on many surfaces, and the bedding had visible stains. Worst of all, when I asked to have the used towels replaced, I was told they could not be changed — which is completely unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one charging this much.Overall, the quality of the room and service did not come close to justifying the price. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be staying again. I hope management seriously reconsiders both their pricing and basic standards of hygiene and service.

Liked: We had a pleasant stay at Charltons Banff. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere and convenient location.
Disliked: However, the elevator wasn’t accessible during the night and morning, which made things a bit difficult with luggage and a stroller. This could be improved, especially for families or guests with mobility needs.
