Liked: We had lovely spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a lovely big bathroom overlooking the Castle Room 13
Disliked: Was shame thay did not do a cooked breakfast.

Liked: Clean comfortable, attentive staff, good breakfast. Central location to explore Cathedral and Castle.
Disliked: Noisy only old single glazed windows. Deafening extractor fans in the bathrooms.

A great place to stay

Liked: The location was brilliant. I understand what other reviews have said about the hotel needing a bit of TLC but I think you have to look at the bigger picture. The hotel has a history, it used to be the nurses home for the psychiatric hospital which was on the same sight.The bedroom was clean with good facilities; a comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The shower was great and there was a huge sink! The continental breakfast had everything you could possibly want.
Disliked: The wooden blinds in the bedroom let in light, curtains as well might be the answer.
