Liked: How comfortable the room was

Affordable and comfy for what...

Liked: Considering we only paid $140/night, $326 total with taxes it was a decent spot. The location was easy to get to and convenient to downtown Charleston in a short drive.
Disliked: We traveled with 2 small children and 2 small dogs. The room could have been a little cleaner. Being on the coast and having laminate floors, the floors stayed extremely dirty. They should provide brooms for each room so you can sweep up yourself. We don’t like for the housekeepers to come in since we had dogs in crates when we were not there. Also no coffee maker in room or microwaves. Those two additional items would have been game changers.

Liked: Nice location other than the insane traffic. The creek and dock were nice and relaxing. The outside looks nice
Disliked: The inside of the rooms are obviously just painted to try to make it look ‘redone’ but the floors were dirty and sticky - my feet were filthy after just ten minutes or walking on them barefoot. There was noticeable large dog urine on the door and wall from a big dog lifting its leg to pee there. Shower had soap streaks and residue. Sad to say but for 120 in Charleston this is what you get. It’s better than a homeless hotel and that’s all I can say.
