Hotel Description
A 4-minute walk from the beach and Sandown Pier Channel View Hotel includes a restaurant and bar and provides free parking and WiFi. This hotel is just over 1 mile from the Isle of Wight Zoo. Each room has a TV wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en suite shower with a hairdryer. THE HOTEL BAR IS CLOSED AND NO REGULAR LIVE ENTERTAINEMENT AND NO ROOM SERVICE WE WILL NOT CHANGE TOWELS IF ONLY STAYING OVER 5 DAYS . Channel View Hotel is around 6 minutes' drive from the Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club and 10 minutes from the Shanklin Chine. Bembridge Windmill is just under 5 miles away and the coastal town of Ventnor is around 7 miles from Sandown.

Liked: Location
Disliked: The room smells mould, there is no staff around. You are on your own. Can not reach anyone in an emergency case as there is no staff around especially at night.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Had to phone a mobile to register and get my key. Was told how to find my room on the phone.The hotel was deserted and I felt like the only person there.The main bar area was closed (not important to me) and smelt mustyThe shower was tepid and not very powerful

Walked in room and went...

Liked: I wouldn't eat there or stay as room was so dirty we left straight away
Disliked: It was filthy
