Liked: The man that gave me my key after having to sleep in my friends room 1st night.
Disliked: No one on reception.no offer of breakfast no bar open.

Disliked: Place shouldn't be open.. building work and decorating going on.. offering rooms that are not available. No staff to great you and wear in PJ's. The room was tatty Nd disgusting.the bed inside looked liked it had been chewed by mice Nd the seat in the room looked from the tip.. we only needed a shower

Liked: The room was cosy, the heating worked without fuss, the bathroom was functional, the bed was comfy, tea and coffee was provided.The staff member who handled my booking was lovely and helpful.
Disliked: The building is a touch old and so there was a draft in a couple of places.

Liked: Clean linen helpful receptionist.
Disliked: On arrival hotel had no lighting on and felt very cold. Had to go and look for receptionist who appeared to be the only member of staff in the building. We were advised no breakfast would be available and given a key and directed to our room which was upstairs. No heating looked very uninviting. View from window was of smashed windows in adjoining building. Finally moved to another room which was at least warmer. Then told payment for the room hadnt gone through so repaid. Found proof original payment had gone through but receptionist didn’t know how to do refund and was told we would have to wait until the owner came in to do it. After chasing It was eventually refunded several days later.
