On 150 acres of parkland this exclusive spa hotel offers over 80 indulgent treatments by world-class therapists. Champneys Henlow has a secluded location in rural Bedfordshire just outside Letchworth. The adults-only resort features the famous Champneys Spa with a grand swimming pool spa pools and steam rooms. Guests can enjoy custom therapies such as the sumptuous Champneys wax bath. Bedrooms have luxury bathrooms with signature Champneys toiletries. All rooms have a flat-screen TV/DVD and some have scenic views of the Hiz River which runs through the grounds. The restaurant serves a modern British menu and fine wines. Never going to Henlow again!

Liked: The grounds were lovely.Nice pool.
Disliked: The staff were unhelpful and unwelcoming.The trainee that checked us in needed to repeatly go and ask for help.Check in took 25 mins, no guidance to help us find our room or welcome drinks.

Disliked: Dinner times inflexible / Spa facilities very poor and dated - tiny sauna / hotel looked in need of refurbishment windows in my room poor repair, shower poor, vanity units embedded stains

Would absolutely stay again if...

Liked: Hotel is beautiful, gorgeous surroundings and very peaceful. Room was immaculate but could do with a fridge and an upgrade on the mattress. It felt quite old and the springs were coming through slightly. The reception staff were lovely and very pleasant.
Disliked: The restaurant staff were a bit all over the show and didn’t really know what they were doing. The food however was unreal so no complaints from that side but the staff think we’re all knew to the job and got a couple of things wrong. Breakfast to the room was 20 minutes late and with us having to be in a meeting for 9am it made things a little rushed.
