Disliked: When i booked i didn't realise it was a room in someone's home. So on arrival we were led through the hosts living room to get to the staircase. Then if you smoke you go to the hosts garden via her kitchen. We did go and do a little sightseeing so when we got back the host had gone to bed ? I couldn't get out into the garden for a smoke and it wasn't late, maybe 9pm I didnt feel comfortable at all as i like to wander from my room as i please to go outside, but here i felt like an indruder. Finding the property wasn't easy.. there are 4 parking spaces to the property but we were asked to park on the street, but lots of no entry signs on streets close by didn't make things easy. Breakfast was toast. Plumbs and some sort of cake. I do see some good reviews but for me I didn't enjoy my stay at all.

Disliked: We booked because it offered parking. We were told to move the car to a public road. The breakfast was very poor. The room was dirty, we have photos if you need them. The cups in the room were dirty. We were glad to leave.

Liked: The home owner was very welcoming and cooked her own bread and other delicious food for breakfast. The room was well appointed and had all the facilities we wanted/needed.
Disliked: This is nothing to do with the property or the home owner but we thought we had booked a city central location. However we needed to use the metro every time we wanted to go out for drinks/food. This was extremely easy to do as it was 5/10 minute walk to the railway station. What was misleading was the picture which we thought was of the property but was in fact Rennes town hall which was quite a long way from the actual property. We had difficulty in finding the property due to the many one way streets.
