Comfortable, relaxing environment

We will be back and...

Liked: All the staff were great and Natacha the manager especially patient and helpful.The bed and linen were comfortable, decent sized bathroom excellent and the concept of self managing the room and hotel accessories such as water refill, tea, tissues etc is terrific. We really loved the window overlooking 56th Street a bonus.
Disliked: Not much, perhaps more bathroom hooks/ledges and the windows needed cleaning.

Disappointing

Liked: the Mezzanine floor, the bathroomwas ok
Disliked: The interior decoration and furniture is very worn and run down. The AC is very loud, even if turned off, there is constant noise from the ventilation system. There is no default cleaning but one has to ask for it in order that the room is cleaned. This hotel definitely does not deserve a four star rating, at the most 2 stars are justified.

Disliked: The Chambers used to be cutting-edge arty AND comfortable. Now it is an empty shell compared to its past.

Great location, stylish with lovely...

Liked: Great location within walking distance of Central Park, 5th Ave & subway links. Modern & clean. Extras & chill area on the mezzanine were great - especially on last day after check out. Staff very nice and helpful. Shower is amazing!! First time a waterfall shower has actually felt like a waterfall!!
Disliked: The bed is NOT a Queen size bed (also referred to as a large double)!! It is a standard 4ft 6inch double - Queen size bed should be 5ft wide. Pillows are too small and uncomfortable. Had to move furniture to open window properly. Large mirror leant against wall next to bed, whilst very stylish, is unnecessary and a trip hazzard in the middle of the night. Could not close curtains completely at night as the air con sucked the curtain in.
