It’s not expensive but not...

Liked: Staff was very friendly.
Disliked: Heading the snoring of the person on the room next door or below.

Nice hotel, good value for...

Liked: Andre met us with warm & friendly energy. The grounds were lovely & the lady serving breakfast was chatty, friendly & helpful.
Disliked: Just an extra pillow - although we didn’t think to ask for one.

Facilities offered for the inclusive...

Liked: Service was quick - food served hot. All staff happy courteous and helpful.
Disliked: Low pressure hot water in bathroom sink. Hot water run out when 2nd & 3rd person went to use it.

Disappointing and in much need...

Liked: Breakfast was OK and the staff pleasant enough.
Disliked: Chalk Farm was disappointing. Drawn in with the idea of staying in an old farmhouse, the premises were shabby, bathroom was dirty (windows, window blind and paintwork). beds were uncomfortable and the carpet looked like it could do with a good clean and the walls/paintwork a lot of decorating. Shower pressure was virtually nil. We booked in for 5 nights but bailed after two. Being situated next to a working farm/garden centre and stables wasn't particularly an issue, but the muck and dust that blew in from the back of the hotel was.

Comfortable stay despite the bath...

Liked: Breakfast was good and beds were comfy
Disliked: No hot water at first, stains in bath no 7, when complained he said they tried to remove them and couldn’t, if this room was offered to me with these stains you would never stay there, that excuse is not good enough, I couldn’t get a shower or bath, I felt sick, it looked like urine stains.
