Jocelyn, Worthing, visiting Royal Albert Hall London Mon, 17 January 2022

Perfect location for the Royal Albert Hall. Could have done with a name plaque outside. The room was cosy but ample for our needs and the receptionist friendly and helpful.

Liked: The location.
Disliked: The bed against the wall.

Fantastic location but a bit...

Liked: The location was fantastic. The property was safe and clean. I loved the big bay window onto the street.
Disliked: Not terribly soundproof. The bedding wasn’t comfortable (a fitted sheet is a marvellous modern invention). There was an air-conditioning unit but it didn’t work (they did say this wasn’t on the room description, though). It was not great to have to carry my suitcase down so many stairs at 8 am when I checked out, as there was no lift and no staff on duty. The hotel should warn you about this.

This hotel is terrible, but...

Liked: Location
Disliked: No air conditioning. When I booked the room it stated on the description that all rooms have AC, but when I got there it didn’t work at all. The hotel explained to me that the rooms do not come with AC and are booked with no AC, even tho they stated that they all do in the description, which was later deleted from booking.com. They didn’t even offer us a fan in upwards of 35 degree heat. The pictures make it look nice but the beds are uncomfortable. The hotel owners are terrible, they do not respond to messages and do not care about you at all. There is a hidden £100 deposit that you might get back. There are much better places for a similar price, spend your money elsewhere.

Awful! Just a room with...

Liked: Location very good. Nothing else.
Disliked: Almost everything! No aircon (34 degrees in London). Window opens onto an inner courtyard so no air movement whatsoever. No luggage storage. No contactless payments. No staff after 9pm and nobody at reception when we left at 9.15 am, even though guests were waiting. Room wasn't cleaned each day and bed wasn't made up. No sign on outer door saying this was CG so guests seen wandering up and down street looking for it! Deposit taken (still awaiting return). No facilities at all. 2 teabags per room and 2 sachets of soap and shampoo which were impossible to open. Seem to be still in the 19th century... Definitely won't be back!

Perfect location for me. Good...

Liked: This was a perfect place for my stay in London. Very comfortable. Good staff. I was very happy. Easy access to buses and trains and close to everything, including Kensington Gardens, Albert Hall
Disliked: Some nights were a bit noisy when the front door banged. No other issues at all.

Good value for the money

Liked: The location was very convenient just 10 minutes to the tube and the neighbourhood was quiet and lovely.
Disliked: The bed seemed a bit small, if you are a tall person, watch out.
