CG Kensington

Perfect location for the Royal Albert Hall. Could have done with a name plaque outside. The room was cosy but ample for our needs and the receptionist friendly and helpful.

Liked: The location.
Disliked: The bed against the wall.

Small hotel room, but generaly...

Liked: Location is definitely the most positive aspect.The room was very small, but still comfortable.The bed was comfortable, so it served its pourpose to give us a good rest.
Disliked: The room is very small.The bathroom is even smaller.It DOES NOT have air conditioning.

Liked: Great value for the location. Rooms are unique, but it’s the second time I have stayed here and it’s great. Will stay again. View is poor, but I wasn’t there for the view. Just to sleep comfortably after a night out.
Disliked: View. Nothing else, really.

Great location for tube transport

Liked: Great location, close to tube high street Kensington. Friendly staff, comfortable bed.

Disliked: The AC was out and it was very hot. No washcloths. Poor quality soap and shampoo.

Disliked: A very small detail but it would be really helpful if the lobby had some tools like small knives etc. so that the guests could borrow if needed.

Clean but poorly managed

Liked: Location is good
Disliked: The hotel is not well equipped. We stayed during a period of very hot weather and while there is air conditioning in the room it doesn’t work. They had put a note in the room stating that the hotel was not advertising air conditioning on the website so they apologise for any inconvenience. In an attempt to cool the room they had undone the safety lock on the very large sash window in the room and opened it, this made it very dangerous. We were on the third floor and the window was within a foot of the side of the bed, at the correct height to easily fall out. We appreciate that they were trying to cool the room but perhaps putting a fan in there or fixing the air conditioning would have been a better solution. It was unbearably hot in the room and we barely slept.
