Liked: The location is great - in the middle of Cessnock and close to wineries.
Disliked: 1. The whole experience seemed disorganised. I called 2 days before the booking to confirm for early check in at 1pm, which was agreed by the owner. We turned up at about 2pm (usual check in time) and were told that the room wasn't ready and asked if we could come back. We were given a different room after I said no, which was fine, but it wasn't a smooth start to the stay.2. The room was tired and dated, had a smell that indicated the tiredness. It was significantly different to some of the images that we saw online which had fresh paint and brighter interior.3. We didn't have an iron or ironing board in the room, and had to retrieve it ourselves from a different room after requesting it.4. There was no hair dryer.5. The bathroom light was a haphazardly-hung temporary light plugged into the powerpoint.
