Century Plaza Hotel

I highly recommend The Century Plaza Hotel & Spa; great rates/rooms; friendly, more than helpful staff; great food; I will be booking with them next trip!

The hotel was beautiful and very centrally located. The view from our room was amazing; we would stay there again.

This was my second time staying at the Century Plaza because it offers good, overall value for the price. It is an excellent place to stay if you have loved ones in the hospital next door, and need to stay a while, or are simply going to a concert and need to stay a night or two. We enjoyed receiving a voucher to the restaurant, where we had an excellent meal. The staff were all very good and attended to a couple of minor deficiencies in our room, straight away. The hotel rooms are very large and simply decorated (as opposed to luxurious decor); we enjoyed having a fully-appointed kitchen.

Liked: Very large, one bedroom suite with a nice view; very good, friendly service, and prompt attention to deficiencies.
Disliked: The room is a little "tired" looking and lacked a "warm and cozy" feel. The floors could have been a little cleaner and the toilet leaked water onto the floor, so we woke up to puddles on the floor.

Disliked: The elevators weren’t working for 3/7 days we stayed.. we had to wait like 20 minutes.. No stair access to the suites - so that was also not an option..There were mouses in the apartment.

Good locatrion and

Liked: Location of hotel is good, just a short walk to Downtown Vancouver. Good secure parking facilities (additional fee of $25 plus tax) per day. Staff pleasant and helpful and good facilities onsite - pool, gym, restaurant (not used) and coffee shop. Room was of a good size with comfortable beds and cleanliness was good too. I would recommend the hotel and would stay again.
Disliked: Whilst the room we booked boasts full kitchen facilities, it did indeed include a cooker, grill, fridge/freezer and microwave, the utensils supplied were inadequate, for example only one cutting knife and a single saucepan.

Liked: Convenient location, easy access to cafe for drinks & snacks, helpful staff.
Disliked: Very noisy air-conditioning, bathroom taps very stiff & difficult to turn off.
