Liked: The price was good.
Disliked: The check-in process was rather chaotic considering the amount of people trying to enter and the fact that there was only one person working at the time. The smell was terrible everywhere, including the elevators and the halls.There is little control over what the guests do and who these guests are to begin with. Initially, I got a rather small room with four beds which already had two people in it. One of them very apparently smoked in there despite all the signs showing that you shouldn't. He didn't speak English, occupied my bed and also smelled terrible. I tried to take a nap after the third person left but suddenly the guy mentioned before sneaked up on me from behind and sexually assaulted me. To be fair, I was stupid enough to not think that booking a bed in a mixed-gender room as a woman might be an issue.I talked to the receptionist and, as previously, he was quite busy. After a while he went up with me to the room and tried to confront the guy. Since the guy didn't speak English, a rather awkward exchange of words over Google Translate ensued. After some point, the receptionist seemed to be more concerned about the fact that the guy had smoked in there rather than my issue. He ended up saying to him that he should pay 200 euros or he has to leave immediately. I don't know what happened after this as I requested another room. I, of course, without any evidence or witnesses didn't expect much but even if I had some they would have sent the guy away without any further consequences (in my opinion).In the end, I got another room. I requested a female-only one but the receptionist said that he could not fulfill this since it would cost much, MUCH more. I went along with whatever he offered me as a new room.The new room was more spacious but the bed assigned to me was yet again occupied, considering the traces of body odor left on the sheets. The new people seemed to be normal but something was still off.

Great Location, But the Hotel...

Disliked: The hotel has a great central location, which is very convenient for exploring the city. Unfortunately, that's where the positives mostly end.The surrounding area is extremely noisy, especially on weekends, and the windows are not soundproof at all. Sleeping at night was very difficult due to the constant noise from outside.The building is old and badly in need of renovation. Our room felt outdated and worn down. The bed was a disaster – the mattress was uncomfortable and looked dirty. There was no air conditioning in the room, just a very old fan that barely worked, which made warm nights even more uncomfortable.The bathroom, like the rest of the hotel, was also in poor condition. The shower drain was clogged, and everything felt run-down.On the plus side, the staff were friendly and tried their best to help.The hotel doesn’t have its own parking. We had to find a spot nearby, but thankfully we found two garages about 5 minutes away, one costing €23/day and the other €25/day – not ideal, but manageable.In summary: great location, but very noisy, outdated facilities, and no air conditioning. Would not stay again unless it gets renovated.
