A great place to stay...

Liked: Very well located on the fringes of Surry Hill and close to lots of public transport - Central Station just down the road, buses nearby and a short walk to the light rail. Decor is lovely and fits the art deco style of the building. Lobby is well fitted with couches and seating areas for relaxing in. Loved the "on-tap" filtered cold water!
Disliked: Awful smell running through the hotel corridors and bathroom. Absolutely no ventilation happening in the corridors, which means everything smells musty and dank like public toilets. Had to keep leaving our bathroom door open to get some air in. Be warned that even if you get a "comfy" room, they are still very small. We had a comfy room with twin beds and had to do some re-arranging to make more space. Almost no storage - four hooks on the wall if you want to hang up some clothes. The bathroom is even tinier, and in our room you couldn't even stand in front of the sink because the shower glass was in the way.
