Liked: Our room at the Central Station Hotel in Liverpool was spacious and included a TV, which we appreciated. The staff were helpful—they lent us a hairdryer and even a charging cable, which I had forgotten. The location is convenient, very close to the train station. The hotel itself clearly warns that it is situated above a lively pub area, which is honest and helpful for guests to know in advance.
Disliked: The noise was in fact a major issue: loud music and shouting until late at night. To make things worse, delivery trucks started unloading early in the morning, adding to the disturbance.Another unpleasant experience was at check-out. On Booking.com it said check-out was by 10:30 AM, which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel, to match our train schedule. However, the receptionist told us we had to leave by 10 AM. We pointed out the 10:30 AM time listed online and were told it was fine to stay until then. Still, before 10:20 AM someone knocked on our door in a quite rude way—and before we even had time to reach the door, they tried to open it themselves (luckily it was locked), insisting we vacate the room. That felt extremely intrusive and unprofessional.Lastly, the cleanliness left much to be desired—there were stains on the sheets, pillowcases, and carpet.

Liked: Very good location (5-minute walk to train station, 15 minutes to the docks), very friendly staff - we could leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Room clean and quite large. Great value for price, we were there only for one night, but we would have gladly stayed longer :)
Disliked: You have to climb some stairs to get to the room, for some that may be disadvantage. There is a pub under the hotel, so it can be quite loud until late hours. However, it adds to the atmosphere of the place :)

Liked: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for a tourist, very close to Liverpool Lime street stion
Disliked: There is no lift here and my room is on the 3rd floor
