Location great. In house restaurant...

Liked: Location. Restaurant on site. Free breakfast. Good room in size.
Disliked: This appears to be an old hotel under renovation. Carpets show wear. Wall power plugs are old and can't hang on to electric plugs (computer) it will be I'm sure a go to place in Rochester once the renovation is completed.

Liked: The staff was great, Very helpful and friendly. Main floor and lobby were nice. Great location.
Disliked: Staff was helpful in checking us out without paying because They knew that their rooms are well below par. Lobby was nice and modern, restaurant was nice, first floor was nice. The rest of the floors, buildings and rooms are very low budget. Originally I was put across the street in a 1 br apt style room. It was worse than some section 8 housing Ive seen. They moved me into the main tower and my room was visually clean but smelled like a mixture of dirty socks and wet dog. Very outdated. We were going to just stay because it later in the evening with a small chance to find something else. But after 10 min I couldnt take it. Id rather my family sleep in the car. We were fortunate enough to find another local hotel. i heard the first floor rooms were renovated over 5 years ago. Not sure what they are waiting for to finish the project. The rest of the place is horrible. The pics on all the booking websites are an absolute lie.
