Centennial Hotel

On checking into our room we found a left over tube of toothpaste and used floss on the bed. The hotel room was very hot and stuffy. We were woken early by noisy kitchen staff and the lady who served us breakfast was clearly rushed off her feet, and so when our breakfast arrived and we were served stale bread we felt we couldn't complain as the waitress was busy dealing with other customer complaints. We told the receptionist on checking out of the hotel and though she was very apologetic we were not offered any discount from our £120 room which is what we would have expected for such poor quality service.

Liked: Helpful and friendly receptionist.
Disliked: Overpriced; poor housekeeping; food not up to scratch.

Liked: The hotel looked outdated, but inside it was very clean. It was quite close to the center, so very convenient. We really liked the English breakfast. The staff were very kind, especially when my husband had fever, the staff helped us whole-heartedly. Thank you so much.

Liked: The location was good and the hotel was clean
Disliked: Breakfast finish time too early . Rooms were very hot, including bedroom and breakfast area. Road also very noisy especially as room hot and having to keep window open
