Disliked: After hearing that Holiday Inn did a lot for guesr for New Years Eve, I felt that the same should have been for Cedar Inn.

Disliked: Cedar Inn StablesLet me start this by saying I am a huge people pleaser and it physically pins me to give me a bad review but we were done dirty and potential customers deserve the honest truth. This could’ve been resolved in the first place and we would have no issue booking again.Okay, if I could give this place zero stars this time around I would. We are from Michigan and we travel to Ohio (4 hours+) each year for Cedar Point’s Halloweekends. We are going on like 5 years or so now. We travel with a group of 6 or more each trip and we all book at the same hotel months in advance.We have been on the hunt for a hotel we could frequent during our stay and stumbled upon Cedar Inn Stables. I love horses so this was something that got me really excited.The first year we stayed at this hotel (2022), we had an amazing time. Lots of complimentary stuff left for us. Friendly staff, great restaurant.After our amazing stay, I decided to plan our honeymoon for our October 2023 wedding at Cedar Inn Stables so we could visit Halloweekends again. I booked three rooms this year so my husband and I could have a room, my sister and her boyfriend could have a room, and my two brothers could also have a room. Although this was our honeymoon, we wanted to spend it with the people close to us as they’ve enjoyed these trips in the prior years.This year we planned a much longer stay which of course would be more costly, and we expected this but everyone agreed that this was a great hotel and a decent price for our stay. So after dropping $1500+ on these 3 rooms for Thursday-Sunday, we expected the same great service we received last time. Initially, everything was great. We trusted that we would be taken care of once again.Wrong.The morning after our first stay at Cedar Inn, my youngest brother woke up with two giant red bumps on his chin. Being his age, I just assumed they were some bad breakouts because he can be prone to those.

Disliked: It was just a tiny bit confusing on where to check in but I feel like that was mostly our fault for not reading the directions right.
